It’s apple-pickin’ season and a perfect time to think about making this classic Applehead doll. Fresh cortland apples will transform into little old faces as they dry. The project will take two sessions (Thursday, October 3 & Thursday, October 24 from 6-8pm) to allow time for the faces to dry out. The first day we will carve our heads and construct our doll bodies. The second class we will attach the heads and dress them. You can decide who your Applehead doll will become, during the drying period, and work on clothing and props: a sweet elderly lady, Father Christmas, a flyfisherman, or a scary Halloween witch! Carve several heads and decide as they dry. This class will be taught by Micki Warner. Class fee includes materials.
