Please join us for an early fall evening of fun, food, friends, music, and bidding at FallFest, our annual silent auction and fundraiser for the Denmark Arts Center.
This year’s event gets back to the roots of community, with a potluck-style dinner that promises to be rich with dishes and the stories behind them. All food will be sourced by our staff and board members. Guests simply need to show up, enjoy the atmosphere, and bid heartily on an array of items that will run from pieces of work by local artists and craftspeople, to experience-driven getaways, to themed baskets filled with goodies from local businesses.
An array of entrees and dessert will be provided by STANDARD GastroPub, Beth’s Kitchen Cafe, and Campfire Grille. Wonderful root vegetables by Patch Farm and granola by Grandy Organics.
The event will take place at Bicentennial Park from 5 to 7 pm, with food and beverages available throughout. The silent auction will be staggered, with different groupings of items drawn every half hour between 5:30 and 7.
Two local bands, Heart & Harmony and Just in Time, will be playing throughout the event.
“Just in Time” includes Carol Rhoads (piano), Scott Holden (drums), Mike Cowles (bass) and Janet Gill (vocals) and playing jazz standards. “Heart and Harmony” included Peter Kimball and Janet Gill (guitar and vocals), Rusty Wiltjer (drums), Jeanine Loubier (fiddle) playing a variety of folk and popular songs.
FallFest raises significant fundsfor Denmark Arts Center and also provides an opportunity for our supporters, volunteers, staff, and board of directors to mingle, have fun, and renew their commitment to our mission.
