Have you ever heard of Poi? Poi is a traditional art form that originated with the Māori people of New Zealand. It involves swinging tethered weights, or “poi,” around in rhythmic patterns. Originally, it was used as a training exercise to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Over time, it has evolved into a performance art, often featured in dance and the flow arts. Come and try it for yourself in this hands-on workshop!
