The fall, a time of harvest, bounty and plants dying and returning to the earth. The season that is upon us reminds us to think about worlds out there beyond our conscious realm. This year the DAC is exploring the mysteries around the season of Halloween when the veil between worlds thin.
Saturday, October 27th we will celebrate from 12-2pm with a costume party for kids, our Beyond The Veil art opening, seasonal readings by Martha Benesh and other surprise ‘readers’, our guest psychic medium, Annette Cohen, E’s EATS food cart with hotdogs mac n’ cheese, and other assorted holiday treats!
At the age of three, Annette Cohen entertained her parents with descriptions and messages from people only she could see and hear. By the time she was a teenager, her family and friends accepted the fact that this was not a figment of her wild imagination, and actively sought her counsel. Family friends introduced her to the Spiritualist Church, where she learned to channel, practice palmistry, interpret auras and read the tarot.
Working with a client’s spirit guides, Annette provides insight into issues related to family, career, finances, relationships, life changes and health. Based in New Hampshire, she has worked at the Mustard Seed, Moonlight Metaphysical and Shaman’s Dream. She has also done readings in Salem, Massachusetts, Melbourne, Australia and Oneonta, New York. Annette has provided psychic development classes to her private clients and as well as delivered workshops and lectures to organizations in New England.
Dr. Cohen is a professor of Fine Arts and Digital Design at Great Bay Community College on Pease International Tradeport in Portsmouth. The college is located in the old Air Force Base hospital which is said to be “haunted,” providing Annette with a constant source of new friends.
We will also celebrate in the evening at 7:30 with the return of Black Cat Road — the best band to celebrate Halloween with — costumes optional 🙂
