Boston’s most playful theatre ensemble RETURNS, Liars & Believers! This year camp features masks and improv skill builders. Kids will build their own masks and learn how to create characters. Improv is fun, it’s one of the foundations of theatre. Whether it’s puppets, masks, clown or just plain acting, improvisation teaches you how to be a great partner, think on your feet, and free your creativity. Liars & Believers uses improv in everything we do, from creating our shows to performing them. Join us and bring out your best theatre artist!
Campers will make their own masks that will be featured at Deertrees Theater on Thursday, July 14 before the performance of Yellow Bird Chase. Campers will receive a free ticket to Liars & Believers performance of Yellow Bird Chase 3pm at DeerTrees Theater in Harrison, ME on the second day of camp, Thursday, 7/14. In addition, campers will have an opportunity for their masks to be showcased before the performance on Thursday at DeerTrees Theater.
Please bring appropriate clothing for outside as camp may take supervised breaks in Bicentennial Park. We’ll take plenty of breaks for snacks and water. Make sure you bring those snacks, water, and your lunch – plus sunscreen and bug spray. We’re going to have a great time.
