Enjoy community and good cheer in the celebrated historic 1883 Odd Fellows Hall. This celebration is an opportunity to come together and support programming at the Denmark Arts Center. It is a new season for the DAC and we are excited to share our work with our community. All of our fun fall festivities will raise funds for Denmark Arts Center and community. The doors open at 5pm on September 28th and the celebration will wrap up around 8pm.
Partake in locally crafted farm to table appetizers with food harvested from Patch Farm of Denmark, cheese from Worth the Wait farm, BBQ sliders from 302 West Smokehouse, art by Jon Allan Marshall, National Distributors will join us for wine, local libations from Saco River Brewing, and live music by Maine-based folk trio Birds on a Wire with Jenny Huang-Dale, Jeanine Loubier, and Greg Huang-Dale. Special thanks goes out to 302 West Smokehouse Restaurant, Patch Farm, Worth the Wait farm, Bridgton’s Food City, and Hannaford Supermarkets for offering sustenance for our community’s enjoyment.
We will have our art gallery opened, an exciting reverse auction, our spin-to-win wheel with items to win, like a GOLDEN TICKET for 24 DAC performances, a SILVER TICKET for 12 DAC performances, a Camp Pass, or an Adult Workshop Pass. What is a Reverse Auction, you ask …. WELL it is were an organization is broken down into what it needs to successfully fulfill its mission each year. A dollar amount is then given for each of the organizational needs and the auctioneer starts bidding at the highest level. That is were you come it and raise your bid card at a level you would like to support the Denmark Arts Center. So come on down, join in the fun, and let’s have a good time fundraising and enjoying each other’s company!
