KIDS CAMPS

The Denmark Arts Center is dedicated to furthering educational opportunities in the arts for community members of all ages. In collaboration with local and visiting teaching artists, we host weekly classes in dance and songwriting, as well as speciality workshops in many other mediums. The Denmark Arts Center also works with the local school district, MSAD 72, to provide high quality and diverse educational experiences in the arts for K-12 students.

We are open to collaborating with a number of local organizations and individuals to craft specific art workshops or classes. If you are interested in teaching or coordinating a class, contact opportunity@denmarkarts.org or call 207-452-2412.

Camp will explore and foster multi-sensory and social emotional learning. This is a parent and child experience, and parents are encouraged to attend. The toddler music sessions incorporate our community’s young families. Parents and caregivers engage in simple songs, rhythms, rhymes, and movement activities. Musical instruments are incorporated to create a playful experience while working with beats and tempo.

The secret and spectacular worlds of Roald Dahl never ceases to amaze, through creepy wit or ghastly bits. This performance of our musical theater students encompases portions of two of author Dahl’s book with the approach as presenting two one-acts.
