Winds of Change, what does that even mean? Well, season 2024 is Denmark Arts Center's 30th Birthday and we are changing up a few things, like finally creating a Denmark PRIDE event! upgrading our website, working on much needed building maintenance, and releasing a Denmark Arts Center birthday IPA made just for us by Mason of Saco River Brewing and label design by Dean McKeever of Keever Illustrator :-)

Mother's Day Sip n' Paint-Pet Portraits Sunday May 12 3-6pm
Join Olivia Benish-Chaffee for a three-hour class resulting in a sweet painting capturing your canine or kitty buddy. Bring family and friends, for this is a Sip N’ Paint you will be loving. This workshop requires a few preparations to make it a lasting memory. Please send us a good photo by Monday May 6 of your furry friend you’d like to paint. We do limit one pet painting per person. You will need the full 3 hours of class for one painting.

EARLY BIRD CLEAN UP DAY-WEDNESDAY, MAY 15TH 8-12am
We'd love your help if you've got the time. Spring cleaning is ALWAYS more fun with a group of volunteers! In order for us to have a job for you worth doing, please email us ahead of time at info@denmarkarts.org and let us know you'll be there on 5/15 between 8-12 to help out!
Bring your most favorite work gloves and be ready for a variety of tasks like minor repairs, outdoors staining projects, cleaning woodwork, washing windows, painting, mopping ... the fun never ends! Actually, i just finished defrosting the fridge so THAT job is done :-)
Congregational Church Spring Concert Sunday May 19 3-5pm
Local artists will be performing original and folk music on a wide variety of instruments. Performing artists will include: The Mayberry's Fleur de Lis~Just Because. Raffle Baskets available with drawings at 5pm, and refreshments provided. You must pre-order to reserve your seat.
John Waldie & Piano Man Friday, May 31 7pm
John Waldie has recently broken through as a headliner. He has put together a top-notch collection of musicians to open the season with a Billy Joel tribute for Denmark Arts Center , John’s love of music, and especially the songs of one of America’s elite singer/songwriters, shows through on stage with his energy and prowess on the piano. Join us John Waldie and his band for his Piano Man concert. I double dare you not to sing along, you’ll be surprised how much you remember!
